The Capsule sorter and polisher is to perform final-stage quality assurance and cosmetic finishing in a single, automated step. It solves two major pain points simultaneously:

Cleaning: Removes residual powder and dust from the capsule surface.
Quality Inspection & Ejection: Identifies and mechanically removes defective capsules from the batch.
This transforms a routine cleaning process into a critical quality gate, ensuring that only perfect capsules proceed to packaging.

Work Flow of Automatic Capsule Sorter Polisher 

1. Input: Filled (or empty) capsules are fed into the machine, often directly from the filling machine via a conveyor.
2. Polishing Stage: Capsules pass through a gentle polishing section (brushes, air) to remove all surface dust.
3. Inspection Stage: The core application. Cleaned capsules are singularized and pass under high-resolution cameras or over precision scales.
4. Decision & Ejection: The control system (PLC/PC) analyzes data in real-time. A precise air jet immediately ejects any capsule identified as defective into a reject bin.
5. Output: Only approved, polished capsules are discharged, ready for metal detection and packaging. The reject stream is isolated for investigation.
